Faran Sohappy is a Native American singer/songwriter from Grand Coulee, Washington.


His album "Not Looking Back" has been nominated for a 2022 Native American Music Award in the categories Best Traditional Album and Best Pow Wow / Dum Songs Recording


As the recording engineer, he was a 2019 Native American Music Awards nominee for Best Folk Recording for the song Nature Walk (Joan Hammel, Tim Brooks). The track was also nominated in the Native Spirit category at the Indian Summer Music Awards.
